MASTERY Partners Meet in Borovets to Prepare the Final Phase of the Project

On 7 and 8 July 2026, the MASTERY consortium gathered in Borovets, Bulgaria, for the project’s penultimate transnational meeting.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to review the progress achieved so far, assess the results of the pilot phase and agree on the priorities for the final months of implementation.

A central part of the agenda focused on the completion of Work Package 4 and the implementation of the MASTERY pilot training programmes. Partners reviewed the main results, key performance indicators, reporting requirements and lessons learned from the pilot sites established across the participating countries.

The pilot phase tested short learning pathways at European Qualifications Framework levels 5 and 6, designed to strengthen the green skills needed for the transition towards a circular economy. The exchange of experiences helped partners identify common challenges, successful approaches and opportunities to support the wider adoption of reliable micro-credentials for upskilling, reskilling and lifelong learning.

The consortium also discussed the first outcomes of the Work Package 5 workshops. These results will contribute to the development of MASTERY’s joint policy recommendations and future application guidelines, helping transform project evidence into practical proposals for policymakers, education and training providers, companies and other relevant stakeholders.

Communication and dissemination activities were also addressed, including stakeholder engagement, the promotion of project results and the preparation of the final MASTERY event.

As the project enters its final phase, the consortium will continue working to promote green skills, strengthen the recognition of learning achievements and ensure that MASTERY’s results create lasting value across Europe.
