On January 16th and 17th, 2025, CETEM hosted the third transnational meeting of the MASTERY project in Yecla. This gathering brought together project partners to continue advancing their mission of improving micro-credential systems across Europe, particularly in key green competencies for strategic sectors such as agriculture, construction, wood/furniture, manufacturing, and sustainability management.
One of the project’s key highlights is the development of 12 green competency micro-credentials, covering a wide range of skills necessary to promote sustainable practices in the mentioned sectors. These micro-credentials are designed to be flexible and adaptable to the specific needs of each sector, providing a clear pathway for professional upskilling in critical sustainability areas.
This meeting served to channel the efforts of project partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, Belgium, and Spain into designing and developing recommendations and guidelines for the future implementation of micro-credentials in the European vocational training sector. The goal is to expand their reach and maximize their impact in key productive sectors. These recommendations are expected to further drive the adoption of micro-credentials as a comprehensive solution to address skills demands in an economy transitioning towards sustainability.
